About Solar CarParks Limited

SCP is a wholly-owned subsidiary of S&W Energy Managers LLP and is aiming to make a significant contribution to the maintenance of a sustainable environment within a technologically-advanced, growing UK economy. We are achieving this objective by focusing on the development, operation and ownership of solar PV electricity generation systems for commercial property (buildings, car parks and land) owners in the UK, and on delivering sustainable financial returns for our investors.

SCP’s management capability and experience enables it to help commercial businesses and organisations to reduce their carbon footprints and to achieve significant savings on their electricity bills. These benefits are realised by making use of unproductive roof space, surplus land and air space above car parks to generate solar PV electricity.

During May 2014 SCP’s parent company completed the development of a 3 MWp PV system on the roof of BMW Group's MINI manufacturing plant in Cowley, Oxford. S & W is managing the operation of this PV system for its owner (Free Green Energy Corporation).

By working with its award-winning solar PV installer partner EvoEnergy, S & W is able to provide both private and public sector commercial organisations with competitively-priced, secure supplies of long term renewable energy from high-performing solar PV systems. One of the funds managed on behalf of private investors by Guinness Asset Management Limited provides the capital for FGEC to develop solar PV systems.
